Description
Recognizing the need for a solution between automatic label dispensers and full inline labeling systems, Tach-It developed a series of tabletop machines designed to move products along a conveyor and apply labels accurately at a specific location. The Mini-Con T automated labeler is built to apply labels to the top surface of boxes. This unit does not require specialized training or tools for changing labels or adjusting to different products. It features a touch-sensitive control panel with five programmable memory presets where all adjustments can be made and monitored. The machine uses non-contact sensors for both label detection and product sensing and is equipped with a product counter and target counter. A 10-inch-wide high-friction conveyor supports a range of applications. Additional features include a large roll capacity and the use of stepper motors to help maintain consistent label placement. Operation is straightforward: the user places the product at one end of the conveyor, where it moves under the labeling head and exits at the opposite side after the label is applied. For facilities with an existing conveyor line, the Mini-Con T is available with an adjustable-height stand on casters, allowing the unit to be positioned directly over an existing system.
