Description
Identifying a gap in the market for a labeling machine that fits between semi-automatic dispensers and full inline systems, Tach-It developed a tabletop solution designed to apply labels to bottles and other round items. The Mini-Con-R moves products along a conveyor through a wipe-on label applicator, placing labels accurately at the specified location. This system does not require specialized training or tools for label or product changes. It features a touch-sensitive control screen with five programmable memory presets where all adjustments can be made and monitored. The machine uses non-contact sensors for detecting both products and labels, includes a product and target counter, and is equipped with a 4 1/4-inch wide high-friction conveyor (with wider options available). It supports larger label roll capacities and utilizes stepper motors to maintain consistent label placement. Operation involves placing the product at one end of the conveyor, where it moves through the label applicator. The product is then transferred to a vertical conveyor, which rotates the bottle against a specially designed platen to secure the label before exiting the system.
